The pre 17 driving lessons are conducted by our all fully qualified, Driving Standards Agency (DSA) approved instructors who follow the DSA syllabus for teaching the skills in learning to drive. All instructors drive modern cars with up-to-date safety equipment, air conditioning and manual transmission, and are fully insured to conduct off-road training for teenage drivers.
Keeping on track - Your Progress
To help you prepare for ‘on road’ driving lessons, your instructor will keep a detailed record of your progress in relation to the DSA syllabus. No corners are cut in our driving lessons and we will give you the best possible, safest start to learning to drive before venturing on to public roads.
Legal Requirements to take Under 17 Driving Lessons
You need to be at least 14 years old and able to read a car number plate, with or without glasses, at a distance of 20.5 metres (that’s about the length of a cricket pitch).
